History

The Eagles were formed in 1958 by Jim Lawlor. In 2008 we celebrated our 5oth year of existence. They originally began play in the 21st Ward football league. That league consisted of teams such as the Wissahickon Braves, Manayunk Tigers, and Ivy Ridge Panthers. In 1970 the Eagles then joined the Keystone State Football League where they have remained active members until present day. For the last fifty years the Eagles's home field has been the Al Pearlman Complex. Also know as the "filter beds".
