At Roxborough Eagles AA, we are dedicated to providing a fun and active sports experience for youth in the Roxborough area. Located at 600 Port Royal Ave, 19128. Our organization offers football, cheerleading, and basketball programs to keep children engaged and healthy.

The Roxborough Eagles would like to thank Joey O’Brien, the O’Brien Family and all of the sponsors for an awesome day at the first annual Joey O’Brien Youth Football Camp! We appreciate all of your hard work planning such a wonderful camp. We had a great turn out, received a ton of positive feedback and the players had fun learning and practicing skills that will benefit them on and off of the field! In addition, thank you for your generous donation to the Roxborough Eagles Athletic Association! It will help the organization continue to make playing football possible for the youth in our community.

Matthew pownall
Matt Pownall is an exceptional student-athlete whose football journey began with the Roxborough Eagles Youth Football program, where he developed the work ethic, leadership, and competitive spirit that have fueled his success at every level.
After his years with the Eagles, Matt continued his football career at North Penn High School, establishing himself as one of the premier players in Pennsylvania. A dynamic running back and wide receiver, Matt's versatility, toughness, and explosive playmaking ability helped lead the Knights to multiple successful seasons.
Throughout his outstanding high school career, Matt earned numerous prestigious honors, including being named North Penn High School's Most Valuable Player twice, receiving the Mini Maxwell Award, and being selected as a Pennsylvania Big 33 Football Classic recipient—recognitions reserved for the Commonwealth's elite high school football players.
Matt's exceptional performance on the field, dedication in the classroom, and outstanding character earned him the opportunity to continue his academic and athletic career at the United States Naval Academy (Navy), where he will compete at the NCAA Division I level while preparing to serve his country.
The Roxborough Eagles are incredibly proud to celebrate Matt's accomplishments and are honored to have played a role in the beginning of his football journey. His success is a testament to the power of hard work, perseverance, and dedication, and serves as an inspiration to every young athlete who dreams of achieving greatness. Once an Eagle, always an Eagle.
